NEW YORK – Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for tourist arrivals to Israel from the United States in July and august. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over 2019.

“It is thrilling to once again see an rise in the number of tourists visiting Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers for the year 2019,” stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. “The United States is our top market for Israel’s inbound tourism. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we had record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel every month. We are extremely happy to see this positive change, and we expect this trend to last for many months and years.”

Canada is set to surpass Israel’s tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 in August.
